The Power of Two
Working Pairs, Working Better Together
As a leader in your organization, you have many critical working relationships – your boss, your direct reports, or a board chair.
It’s no secret that the quality of your working relationships can make – or break – your organization’s success, as well as the quality of your own work life.
Whether your working relationships are strong or are struggling, you can make them and your organization more resilient and more effective.
What if, together, as an executive team, you could…
- Create clear vision and expectations of your work
- Gain clarity in your roles and responsibilities
- Feel supported, understood and empowered as a team
- Resolve friction and have more open and productive communication
- Do the jobs you were hired to do with confidence
As a certified team coach, I help you develop more effective working relationships so you’re less stressed and more focused, knowing you’re getting the important work done.
As a result of Power of Two, your executive team will…
- Lead more effectively and productively
- Set a more positive tone for the whole organization
- Gain core clarity in decision making and accountability
- Be able to work through sticky issues calmly and with confidence
- Focus on what is most important so that the work gets done
Even if you aren’t currently experiencing conflict, investing in a tune-up of your organization’s most important working relationships creates significant benefits for the long term health and effectiveness of your whole organization.
This Power of Two package includes:
1) Team Insight Questionnaire
Once you know you’re ready to start coaching, both team members complete a written questionnaire.
Your frank and honest responses give me a better sense of the strengths and challenges within your working relationship, so I understand you as a team better and what you want to change.
From this tool alone, my clients report positive change in their working relationship even before we meet together!
2) Power of Two Sessions
Initial 2-hour intake session: In the first session, we review your responses to the questionnaire, clearly define your shared goals, and design how we work together.
Three follow-up Power of Two sessions, 90 minutes each: In these sessions, using real-time examples and experiences from your work, we address your primary goals through exercises, models and facilitated conversation.
In between sessions your pair works on assignments to practice key skills and keep the momentum going.
3) Follow-up
One follow-up 90 minute session three months later to check in on progress on new skills and behaviors.
Sessions take place in person, or by phone or by Skype so location is not an issue.

“While not all co-workers can be best friends, they need to be able to work effectively together for the good of the organization. As a result of the Power of Two coaching sessions with Hanna, we have new tools to communicate with each other better.
Hanna’s process and style offered a safe environment for learning tools of improvement. She was gentle and non-judgmental, while still asking us to address tough questions when needed.
Power of Two coaching with Hanna can help relationships move forward in a way beneficial to the work place and team.”– Non-Profit Executive Director, Minneapolis
